Dear colleagues,
It is a pleasure for us to invite you all to the upcoming meeting on quantum computation taking place on Friday, September 22nd at the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña, on the occasion of the creation of the Quantum Computing Group at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC).
The meeting will consist of informal talks and scientific discussions among those of us who are interested in quantum computing and quantum annealing, as well as closely connected areas –error correction, quantum control, etc.–
The event is co-organized by BSC-UB and the Instituto de Física Fundamental (IFF-CSIC, Madrid), and has the support of RICE (http://rice.hbar.es). Therefore, a reasonable amount of travel support will be possible for those coming further away from Barcelona.
If you are interested, you can email [email protected] with your information and possible contribution, as well as an estimate of your travel costs, in case you request funding from the network.

The event will take place at the “Sala de juntas del rectorado de la UPC” (marked by a star on the map). The easiest way to get there is to take the subway, green line (L3) and stop at Palau Reial. From there it is a 5 minute walk. The building is located inside a fenced area, right next to a pool. The fence is always open from C/ Jordi Girona.

Cordially,
